Inspired by Ivory Glass

Ivory, stained glass mosaic (framed), 11" x 21", 2009 ~SOLD
Sometimes I am fascinated by the many colors that can be found in a single sheet of glass. In the above piece, I only used two different sheets, but there is so many interesting colors to be found. I really like the subtle effect of this simple combination.

All the mosaics in this series are framed as shown above.

 Untitled I, stained glass on wood, 12" x 8", 2009    SOLD
While working with a limited palette of just two colors, I was inspired to add a few more, but only ones that I found withing the glass. I created these three pieces by adding brown, purple, yellow and ivory.

Untitled II, stained glass on wood, 12" x 8", 2009 SOLD
These four pieces along with another are featured this month at a wonderful coffee shop "Bitter Sweet" in Fort Green, Brooklyn @ 180 Dekalb Ave.
