Agate Landcape

This is another piece that was inspired by examining agate stones. I found a composition that reminded me of layered rock formations I've seen in nature. A few months prior to completing this mosaic, I went on a road trip to the Grand Canyon region in Arizona. While working on my landscape, I thought of what I've seen on my trip and added a touch of my own imagination.

  1. This piece looks so three dimensional, I had to click on it to get a closer look. Amazing!
