This last year I have worked in a number of small series and now after a busy selling season, I have a few one offs from multiple sets of work I created this year. As I am getting organized for an upcoming art festival in Denver and planning how I will display the artwork in my booth, I decided to see if I can find good homes for those last few smaller/medium works.
Everything ships for Free in
the Continental US. I’ll be taking a break from painting following the
upcoming festival. Then all new work I create after the break will be
released in the Summer of 2026, potentially late Spring, so this may be one of the last chances to
buy something online before then.
All Art in My Online Art Shop is always available via my Flexible Monthly Payment Pln
Make first payment and have the work shipped to you while you make incremental payments. Email me at kpolkowska@gmail.com with any questions. This is all set up via me and is pretty easy-going and flexible. This option is also available at all of the events that I take part in, including the upcoming Fall Invitation at Cheeseman Park in Denver on October 4-5th.

This painting is part of my new mountain cabin series. I took inspiration from one of my favorite views around Molas Pass near Silverton Colorado. The tiny wooden cabin is one of the most photographed structures in the awe inspiring San Juan Mountains. I love camping in this area in the Summer and Fall and always look forward to a stroll to the cabin or at least a quick glimpse if we are driving to our campsite or a scenic hike. I painted 4 different views of the cabin, just loosely basing it off my old photos.I set the cabin in a lush Summery landscape and I hope that each view inspires folks to head out to the mountains to explore and find an old historic cabin of their own to fall in love with. Or perhaps it can be a reminder of a memorable family stay in a mountain cottage under the vast sky filled with innumerable stars! As you scroll through the photos, take a closer look at the detail of the sky – there is a very subtle glimmer added with tiny specs of glitter. In person it is very slight but adds a touch of magic.
San Juan Summer Night XII, acrylic on art board, 16″x20″ (17″x21″ includes a wood pattern floating frame), 2025

This painting is inspired by a clear Summer night in the San Juan Mountains of Southern Colorado where I live. In this painting I wanted to highlight my love of the green, lush Summer landscape that I wait for all year year. The mountain sides are rich with life and color during the day and veiled in the magnificent milky way at night.
San Juan Summer Night IV, acrylic on art board, 24"x18" (25"x19" includes a wood pattern floating frame), 2025

This painting is inspired by a clear Summer night in the San Juan Mountains of Southern Colorado where I live. Each year in July, for my birthday, I enjoy camping and exploring the high country around Silverton. This is prime wildflower season. The alpine landscape blooms in millions of flowers. The magic of this time of year is mesmerizing and I look forward to it all year long.
Empyrean Night Sky Symphony IV, acrylic painting on artist board, 24"x36" (25.5"x37.5" framed), 2024
This painting is inspired by a an incredible starry night sky above the wilderness of the Rocky Mountain of Colorado and beyond. Its a Summery night with a warmth in the air rare to this alpine landscape. The rolling meadows are blanketed in the fleeting beauty of the wildflowers. The pink in the star-filled nightsky hints at the soon approaching sunset which promises to be vibrant and one of the kind.
