Shoshone Point


Shoshone Point, stained glass mosaic on board, 14.5" x 20", 2010  ~SOLD

 The above piece was inspired by photos I took at Shoshone Point in Arizona.

The images wouldn't leave me alone, so I set out to transform them into a mosaic. Initially, I was going to stay pretty true to my photograph. But of course my mosaics have a way of taking a life of their own and evolving into something new.

    OMG...that is wonderful!!! I love the way the darker areas are broken up(pardon the mosaic pun). It also has movement... I love mosaic pieces are able to capture a feel...well done!!!
