Alamosa Art Gala

This is the painting that I donated to the Alamosa Art Gala this year. I enjoy participating and donating my art each year as I believe that the Chamber of Commerce in Alamosa does wonderful work to promote local small businesses which I think greatly contributes to the local community.

The painting "Emerald Mountain Morning" was inspired by hiking around in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains that rise up from the San Luis Valley floor in Alamosa. Its an awe inspirng view that can be enjoyed from anywhere in the valley. The hikes through the mountains are majectic and worth every step up the steep, long trails.
