Pagosa Springs Open Studios Tour 2025

It’s almost here -the third annual Pagosa Springs Arists Studio Tour! Here is a preview of the new work I will be sharing this Friday and Saturday at my home studio at 281 Arrowhead Drive, Pagosa Springs, CO 81147 (note: my studio will be closed Sunday). My space will be full of colorful night sky mountain paintings inspired by our glorious local landscape as well as a few glass mosaics works-in-progress, one of which is a sculpture for public art here in Colorado. 

 

 

I’ll be available to answer questions about my painting and mosaic process and can give free glass cutting demos, just ask As long as I have enough practice glass, you can try it as well! But keep in mind, my studio is mostly paintings at the moment as that is my main focus. Questions? I didn't get to take photos of this scrumptious piece above as it sold immediately after I finished it. I created these works for the Ridgway Randevouze Art Festival and this one sold on the first day so because I completed it right before the event, I ran out of time to photograph it but I'm so happy it found a perfect home so quickly! The 2025 Ridgway Randevouze Art Festival

What a whirlwind weekend! We set up my first double art booth at the Ridgway Randevouze (we showed up a bit late, like after everyone was done lol and finished at 11:30pm Friday 😅).

The show was fun and full of awesome artists, great booth visitors, yummy food, amazing weather and so many friendly volunteers but I also didn’t meet my sale goal unfortunately (I still did okay but not what I hoped for with the upgraded booth). 

Then just as we were taking down the display we learned that our neighborhood in Pagosa Springs was under pre-evacuation due to an new active fire a few miles away 😬 So we had to pack up, drive back in the opposite direction to break down our campsite and then in the dark hurry home back up the winding, wildlife filled 550 😱 we drove through a heard of Elk, multiple foxes, a heard of deer that ran into the side of our van while we thankfully were only going at 20mph plus lots more random deer … I’ve never seen so many animals. Well we got home at 2am and the whole weekend is a blur. Right now the fire is looking like the amazing firefighters are containing it so we unloaded all the art back to studio. 

Right now I am thinking of trying a different show next August to spice it up and visit a different part of Colorado so let me know if you have a recommendation for me to add to the 2026 calendar!
